nesto is a project in the making for the last four years. It’s an ambitious startup transforming the Canadian mortgage industry.

I’ve joined the team of nesto in its infancy. As employee #2, the design challenges were infinite, and the learning were even greater than expected. Let’s look at the created brand and complete user flow that was created by my team and me during those 4 years.

Note that a big part of the work in the user interface that has been created is not shown here for NDA and business strategic reason.

 
 

The visual need to bring inspiration and joy. This is a stressful transaction. But at the same time, it’s a great moment. You are buying a house.

My implication in this project was so much deeper than can be shown here. I co-created the flow in the first 3 years and created the entire user experience for the complete product. The bulk of the work is done for internal tools. This is a complete transformation of how we are currently doing a full mortgage process in the banking industry. We’ve already achieved a multiple-fold performance enhancement internally. And it’s only the beginning. We have delighted millions of users already and make Canadians save millions of dollars at the same time.
